Just put tons of pictures of our family reunion on here, It was way fun we started off on a plane to get to Washington and then rented a car and Drove to
Coure D Alene, ID and stayed there for 3 nights, we rented seadoos,had a karaoke Contest My sister and I were the funniest I think, we sang a backstreet boys song into a magnifying glass, and went to Silverwood and played in the water and went on lots of rollercoasters. We then Drove to Yellowstone and stayed there for 3 days and then left to go back to Washington and went to visit some of our favorite people before we had to catch our flight. It was a super long trip but we had so much fun, Dereck and I celebrated our 9 year Anniversary while we were on vacation. We have lots of pictures below so if you get to the bottom click on older posts and you will see more post I just put on here, enjoy.

I have not been very good at keeping up with my blog and seeing as my last post was on my Grandparents passing, I should mention I am doing fine, Life as normal, Well actually my life has been very crazy lately, We moved in June to Tracy, CA here is our house:

The Owners of this house really likes checkered wallpaper there is evidence of this in all 3 bathrooms and the kitchen as you can see. This is our back yard.

My Grandpa Glen passed away about a month ago, I will miss him but am thankful for the time I had with him and for the love he shared for my family, he always would make us laugh even when we were not having a good day, he was always smiling, and always fixing things, he was cracking jokes up to the day he left us, always making light of the situation, I am happy to know he is in a better place with my grandma Jean, and that I will someday see him again. Then last week my Dear Grandma Bebe went back home to be with my Grandpa Bob, my Uncle and my brother Ricky, My grandma was such a wonderful person, she was always serving and helping others, she loved her family and we would always have family Christmas, thanksgiving, Easter, fathers day, 4th of July parties together even though it was very hard to fit us all, She would have her granddaughters over to have week long sleepovers and have these wonderful Tea Parties, that you could tell she spent a lot of time on to make it fun. She had this candy stash that she would hide and for some reason we would always find it, she would have a jar full of coins that all the grand kids could go to the pay n save to get anything we wanted. We always new we were loved, to anyone that would listen she would always brag about her wonderful family, My tears are for me, because she will be greatly missed, But just look at this wonderful family down below, her life lives on through us she excepted what the missionary's taught her and brought her family into the church, which brought us closer together and will keep us together.

This is the best Team, I will sure miss it, but I am glad I am back to a normal schedule at least until Colby starts Basketball. And there is no way I will be coaching that.

We won our last game, woot woot. and Colby shot an awesome sliding side kick in the goal.

The team gave me flowers, Balloons, candy, cards, a soccer bear and a cute little soccer ball that reads Fireballs 2009. I wasn't expecting that at all, It was so nice and thoughtful, It certainly topped the season off nice.

We had such a fun night, This Murder Mystery Party was a great idea, The setting was we were at our high school Reunion in the 60's and our Class mate Rock'n'Rollie was murdered. I was Rock'n'rollies Sister and did plot to kill him but it wasnt me that killed him in the end.

This was Tate's first time roller skating, He was too scared to do it last time, but he loved it this time. He didn't even want to take a break. What a Trooper.

Colby raced against his friends. It was so funny when they all started to take off they all three spun around in a circle first not that they were trying to , and Colby wiped out on the first corner but got back up even though he was in last place he still WON!

Soccer Season

Team FIREBALLS

So I have been Coaching Colby's Soccer Team this Year it, I didn't realize how much I missed it, I have been enjoying every second of it.

Colby has made 5 goals this year so far, he is super Fast and a really good soccer player and he is aggressive. Its so much fun to watch.

We have won 3 games and lost 1 game. 2 games left. Wish us luck.

The boys helped me Make Cookies, this is one of there favorite things to do with me, and I love it that they want to help.

Payton's new favorie thing is to help wash the dishes with mommy. She will throw a fit if I dont get her a chair beside me to help. She is so sweet... When she gets her way.

Our finished Cookies I have the best recipe too... here it is.

Sour Cream Cookies:
1/2 Cup Shortening
1/2 Cup Butter

2 Eggs

2 tsp vanilla

2 Cups Sugar

Mix then add dry ingredients
4 3/4 Cup Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder

1 tsp Baking Soda

1 tsp Salt

1/2 tsp Nutmeg (optional)
mix then add 1 Cup Sour Cream

Roll out and cut into holiday shapes!!!
Cook 425 for 8-10 min

Cream Cheese Frosting:
1 Cube Butter
1 Cream Cheese 8oz(soft)
1 box powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla
Whip

They are sooo Yummy!!!

I also made the best Sweet Potato Bread, You have to try it it smells and tastes sooo good...

Sweet Potato Bread
2 eggs 1 Cup mashed sweet potatos
1/2 Cup Oil
1/3 Cup water
Mix then add dry ingredients

1 3/4 Cup Flour
1 1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 baking powder
1/2 Salt

1 tsp. ground nutmeg

1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp ground Cinnamon

Pour batter into a greased loaf pan
Bake 350 for 50- 65 min.
This is great with the chream cheese frosting as well.

It has been really good weather here this week being Fall in all, so we took the boys to ride there scooter at the skateboard Park.

This was there first time riding it at one of these places, But I tell ya they are dare devils, they just took off Colby was trying out the jumps, scaring me half to death.

They did really good Tate did fall once, luckily he had his helmet on.

There you go!!! She is so fun!! When ever she is in her room she goes straight to her closet and pulls out all of her shoes and brings them to us. Dereck and I think she will have like 100 pairs of shoes when she gets older, she already has about 20.

My Sister wanted me to make this for one of her friends that is having a boy, she paid me for it which was way nice, I have never done the Boppy cover but it turned out really nice. I was so excited I called Tami to tell her how cute it was.

I had some extra fabric and I thought it would be funny to make these being that she is having a boy, they are Pee Pee T-Pees, while changing his diaper she wont get sprayed. Funny HUH.

Then a matching Nursing Wrap. Double sided. I did this all in about 4 hours. I love it when I do new things and it all works out.

So my mom had planned this weekend for awhile, it was just a mother daughter weekend(without kids) she kept all this a secret so we had no clue what we were going to do. We started the weekend going to the Temple and then we went to Seattle, We went and ate at the Cheesecake Factory, If you havnt been there you have to try there Thai Wraps they are so good, and there cheesecake of course. Then we zonked out. In the morning we went to Gene Juarez for a massage it was wonderful they even have this swedish shower were you go after your massage. It was so relaxing.

Got new shoes and my nails done.

We got makeovers.

We went to Palominos for Lunch, Best Chop Chop ever, and their paninis are wonderful, Sorry there is a naked picture behind us.

And the best Part we went to WICKED, the Broadway Musical I put some of my favorite songs that were in there on my playlist, your listening to it right now.

This was the veiw from inside the Paramount , do you see how close we were we were in the 3rd row. I know right. My mom is awesome. I am so happy I got to getaway for the weekend it was so much fun. I love spending time with my sis and mom and this will be one of the most memorable weekends that I will never forget. I am a Wicked Fan now, I never new it was going to be that good, I still have goosebumps, Whoooh what a fun weekend.

Sorry these Posts are a little mixed around.

So once we get there the girls wanted to go up to the top of the Light house 76 stairs.

This really sunk in when I got to the top, (this was the picture at the top of the light house) I have to go 5 1/2 miles BACK. What on earth was I thinking, And walking on sand isn't that much better. If you can see the little hill in the middle of the picture that is were we came from and that is were we needed to get back too. I know that was way crazy. But in the end I had so much fun.

11 miles in all And I got to spend it with these girls. Some great memories. And I wasnt that sore.

Payton fell asleep twice on the hike.

So when we went down to the beach I wasnt planning on going all the way to the light house which was 5 1/2 miles to get to it one way, but there were some determined girls that wanted to get to the light house so I didnt want them going down there by themselves, (what if one got hurt or there were boys down there I couldnt have that happen) So I ended up going all the way to the light house.

It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Longggggggggggggg.

The Menzie's, White's, Epperson's, and Mapengo's Had a blast this weekend, My Aunt let us go up and stay in one of her Cabins on Mason Lake. I have the best Aunt and Uncle, They are so awesome. They even spoiled us with all there fun toys out on the lake. We all agreed it was a dream vacation. We will remember this forever. I don't know how we can top this one.

Its about time I got on here and updated this, I didn't have a camera for about 2 months, (Payton Broke it) So I just got a cheap one this weekend. We went to see the Blue Angels Practice with my Mom and Sister on Thursday Colby has gone before, But this was my first time, they closed down the I-90 Floating bridge when they practice for Seafair. We had a fun time even though the weather decided to be in the upper 90's. Hot, HOt, HOT.

Memorial Day Weekend Camping!!!

Man these boys are Pyro's, Kara and I were constantly
telling them to stop playing in the fire,They were driving us nuts.

This was Payton's First Camping Trip, She seemed to enjoy it, But she didn't sleep that good. The place we went has all these different types of swings in the woods it was way fun. Payton loves to swing, so she was happy.

The boys went out on a row boat with there dad and when they got back there was a boys finding frogs and salamanders and they got to hold them. One of the highlights of the trip.

Brothers being so nice to each other, doesn't happen all the time.

Here are some more pictures. We really had a great time with our friends The Masters and the Whites. We just need to make our trip a little longer next time, we only stayed 1 night. There are so many things that you need to pack, it is a little crazy, I still would pick condos over camping any day but it is fun to get down and dirty. I am sure this is one of many camping trips us Mapengos will be going on.

Mothers Day Weekend 2009

So I had a very busy weekend I decorated 6 dozen cupcakes for Relief Society, which is all the women in my Church. Don't those look yummy.

I had made these pots earlier in the week for Primary, the kids putting together cookie flowers and then sticking them in the pot.

Then I had an idea to do a tea Party for my Grandma since she always made it so much fun when I was little and would do these fun tea parties with all her granddaughter's, so I made Crepes and we had pie and cute tea sandwiches we made tea hats out of wrapping paper. We all had a great time my mom, aunt , sister, and niece's all were able to be there, it was so fun.

SO I WAS SO EXCITED FOR THIS DAY..

We woke up last Tuesday and did our normal morning things, he got ready for school and had his back pack on, I had to go drop off Payton at my mom's. Colby still thought I was taking him to school but we were just going to be late, I turned on a movie in the car after dropping off Payton and they didnt realize I was driving to Seattle, until I drove past Safeco feild and parked. Colby said what are we doing, ARE WE GOING TO A GAME!!! Then I let him know what was going on. The boys were so Suprised. It was such a fun day with my boys and me. We got a group together from his baseball team.

Well at least for me, I finally got up the courage to cut Tate's hair, every month it cost about $16 bucks to cut both of my boys hair. Which ends up to be almost $ 200 at the end of the year, so I got some good clippers and went at it. I think for being my first time I did an O.K. Job. I even gave him a line. I hope that I will keep getting better and better. I forgot to get a before shot, but I am going to do Colby's tonight and will have before and after pictures.

I had a hard time with the back, it kind of looks lopsided but I think I cut it back too far so I don't want to keep fixing it or else he wont have any hair on top.

Spring Break in Seaside 2009

We had such a fun Vacation, even thought it was cold most of the time, but that didn't stop us from going swimming, Dereck brought all the kids down in the hot tub it was raining while they were in there earlier in the week it hailed on everyone. I'm sure it is something we wont ever forget.

April fools day( I had so much fun pranking everyone, I even got some wax that looked like soap and put it in the bathrooms and my sister took a shower and couldn't figure out why it wasn't lathering. I mix matched Cereals, Put food coloring in the bowl so that when they poured the milk it turned a different color, mix matched chips and sealed it with double sided tape. I did a bunch of other stuff so if you need Ideas just let me know.)

I just had way to much fun.
One of the funniest things that happened was when we were playing a game with all the adults and Dereck had to act out a song ," I''ll be your private Dancer."
I'm still laughing about it. It was so funny.

We made a trap to catch the wee little leprechaun this year. How it works is he would go and pick up the gold and the string that was under the gold would unravel letting the cup fall on him and trap him.
But it didn't work out as we planned, he took our gold, but we did trap his Hat.

The leprechaun put a lot of things out of place in our house, The kids thought this one was way funny, so I had to share. Luckily I had just cleaned the toilet before he came. I am sure he will come back next year for his hat and we will be ready for him, We just need to have a better idea to catch him.

Jump A Thon!!!

Last Thursday Colby Participated in Jump Rope for Heart. I remember doing it when I was a kid and he really wanted to do it, so I said why not. He raised $75.00, and Jumped for 2 hours.

He did so good.

Army Crawl

She loves her Bitter biscuits.

Payton has been crawling for about a month in a half, she is such a fast little bugger too.
If I put her down and walk away she will follow me crying, So cute at first, now not so much. She is also getting excited when daddy comes home she will crawl to him so fast and start kicking her legs. So Cute.

She now has 4 teeth, I still don't know why I am nursing her, I actually had a horrible dream that she bit off one of my nipples. Do you think that's a sign?

Tates Birthday Party!!!

So last Saturday we had Tate's Party with my Family and everything went well, except we had to make a run to the emergency room for Colby, It appears that he has an allergy to yellow frosting. He had an allergic reaction and after giving him benadril it looked like it got even worst, so my sister stayed with Tate and Payton and Dereck and I took Colby to the ER. The good news is that he was just fine, he didn't have any trouble breathing, even though his face and body had swelled up. So now we know no Yellow frosting.

So here is the deal I am going to Seaside for Spring Break with my whole Family and it happens to be April Fools day while we are there. Dereck I need some really good pranks to play on my family, I have some Ideas but I want more. For those of you in my Parents & Sisters ward, Keep this Hush, Hush. For those of you that know my mom she is a prankster, So I know she probably is coming up with her own pranks, I just want to have the upper hand. Let me know if you have any ideas.

Tater Tot is 3!!!

Tate is 3 Today. He is such a Joy to have in our family.

I asked everyone what were some of there favorite things about Tate, Of course Payton couldn't Talk, But I am sure she would say how sweet he talks to her, how he is always trying to comfort her when she is upset, and how he sneaks her licks of his sucker while mommy is not looking. Colby said he loves playing with him because he is really good at sharing, and he loves him because he is his brother and his Buddy. Daddy said he loves everything about him as do I, but I I also love Tate's big brown eyes, I love that he still cuddles with me and gives me hugs, He is a happy boy, all boy, and I wouldn't change anything about him .I asked him what he likes about being three and he said, "I can go potty by mine own self, I'm really bigger, and my brother Colby." I think he was meaning he gets to play with his brother. Sooo Sweet.

So Dereck and I wanted to get a Sand box for the Boys Birthday presents but they were too expensive so we decided to build one instead it costed us nothing. My Dad bought the sand for the boys, I think it is way better then the plastic ones.

My boys are going to live out there this summer, I already know it.

So Colby And Tate have been in need of a hair cut For a couple months now and about 2 weeks ago I was picking Colby up from school. It was a really sunny day and I was looking for Colby, I saw one kid with a huge Afro and started laughing, and then realized it was my one and only Colby. So I finally was able to talk Dereck into taking them to get there hair cuts. I think they look so grown up now, don't you.He sure is a character.
My boys seem to be in this phase of posing for the pictures in all funny ways, I love it.

I got a new calling!!

So I got a new Calling about a month ago, I am now the 1st Counselor in Primary. I am very excited, I was put to work and they gave me a fun assignment, I got to do the Bulletin.

The theme this year is My Eternal Family and I thought that having a temple on our bulletin board would be the right choice since if it wasn't for the Temple we wouldn't have Eternal Family's. I made the temple doors open so that the kids can open it and see a family in there. Then there are Primary children holding hands outside of the Temple. I love this kind of stuff. We are also planning a Board meeting and I have a really cute idea for that, But I cant disclose it at this time since I have some Teachers that look on my Blog. But I am way excited for it.

Payton has a tooth with another coming in beside it. I really don't like this part, even though she is so darn cute when she smiles, I don't think it is cute when she is up every hour wanting to eat so it will sooth her, she has bit me at least 3 times one time making me bleed.Oh what a fun age!!! Besides the teething she is such a sweet little girl.

Hurray,Tate is Potty trained, Well at least he is still getting the hang of it, It has now been 2 days with no accidents and him telling me he has to go, I don't have to ask. He wanted to show off his new Lightning McQueen Underwear. Yeah for my Big Boy.

We went to Leavenworth with my Whole Family the day after Christmas and had a great time. I was horrible at taking pictures, but they are all on my moms camera maybe another time I will post it, There was so much snow. I did get to go Cross Country Skiing with my sis and mom, That is one of the things I love to do when we go up there and then of course tubing down the huge hill. There were some awesome wipeouts. I swear if my mom were to have recorded my sister and I cross country skiing through the golf course we would have won AFV. It is a lot harder going down a hill with those skis I think I wiped Out 3 times, One time when I biffed it the snow was all powder and it puffed up and landed all on me, I was covered in snow. Oh what fun memories we made.

My brother and his family stayed a week with us, so our basement went to good use thank goodness it was all done. But a week in a half after they left we had record rainfall, the worst they had seen in a long time and we noticed there was water coming in from the bathroom, then one side of the wall, then where the door is, then in the laundry room, But I am counting my blessing because we were very lucky compared to everyone else. My Husband and Cousin Jessie had a thought to put a drain in our bathroom when they were in the midst of construction , they must had felt inspired because if it wasn't for that drain we would have been at least in a foot of water. We had a stream of water going from one side of the house to the other were the drain was so the drain was doing what it was supposed to. Again I did not take pictures of this my mind wasn't in the right place. I sure do love the Newluns, Anderson boys, and my Parents. They all came over to help. Brother Newlun came over and brought his vacuum sucker thingy, and even left it so that we could keep using it he was there for over 4 hours what a sweet guy. The Anderson Boys brought over there shop vac and helped suck stuff up, and my parents brought over wood to put furniture and what not up and there shop vac. My Uncle is going to help us figure out a way to fix this problem. So that has been our very busy month. At least everything is back to normal.

We got so much snow this year Colby made a snow man and played out side for hours, Tate didn't want to come out side for the picture but he helped too.

The items you will need crystal tri-beads and some silver tinsel Stems.

Cut the Stems in half.
Use one stem to tie them together.

Separate them so it looks like a snow flake.

Strand 2 - 3 beads on each wire.

I love the Snow we had some snow earlier this week and had 2 hours late for school on Monday, and today they canceled School, Colby was so happy.

I know all of you people that dont live in western washington are probably thinking that is Pathetic they canceled school for that. We do have alot of hills here and we do only see snow for less then two weeks a year. So lets just say we are not all that good at driving in it, I am though very good at driving in the snow it probably helped that I lived in Idaho for 3 years and all those times driving up to go snowboarding. I think I am even better then Dereck, dont tell him that I said that.

Gingerbread Train, Yum, Yum!!

The boys had so much fun decorating this, all I did was build the train and put the frosting where they wanted it. I think it looks more like a tractor then a train.
I think I made the gingerbread shapes to big, oh well.
At least the boys had fun making it and that is all that counts.

Snow Flake Window Clings

The supplies you need:
Wax paper, print off some snowflakes, & 3D Paint (Get ones with sparkles)
I got silver, clear w/silver glitter, white, & clear with white glitter.
I think any color would look awesome though.

Lay wax paper on top of the snow flake & trace with the 3D Paint.

Finish let dry.

Do as many as you want and
then you can put them on the window.
It is really easy and gives you some fun decorations for your windows.

Family Night

So for the month of December we do all of our family nights centered towards the birth of Christ so that our kids will know why we celebrate Christmas and also that they will be reminded every week and hopefully wont forget. Well tonight we had a lesson on Celebrating the birth of Christ, We even had a movie to watch from the living scriptures. Within 5 minutes the boys were asleep I kept telling Colby to stay awake because we were going to have desert (brownies with ice cream his favorite) but that didn't even help. Next week we are doing the one I posted about last week on the Symbols of Christmas. Hopefully they will stay awake for that one. By the way it was 6:45 pm when they zonked out. But hey lucky for Dereck and I.

MARKER MESS!!!

So Colby and I made this Thanksgiving Trail Mix for his class last Wednesday. I think his favorite part was picking out the m&ms and Peanuts, It's a cute treat idea for Thanksgiving.

Bugles: Shaped like a cornucopia or horn of Plenty. A symbol of our nations abundance.
Pretzels: Our arms welcoming others.
Candy Corn: The Sacrifices of the Pilgrims’ first winter. Food was so scarce that settlers survived on just a few kernels of corn a day.

*I am so thankful for my husband, he works so very hard in a very stressful job, and makes enough for me to stay at home with my little ones. I love him dearly.
*I am very thankful for those people who helped him get to where he is today.
*I am thankful that he is a worthy priesthood holder, and can give father blessings.
* I am thankful for my kids, they bring so much joy, laughter, and love.
* I am thankful for my Parents for always loving me unconditionally, pushing me to do my best, Supporting me through school, This list can go on and on, I still look up to them.
* I am thankful for my Brother Tony and My Sister Tami, When we all get together we always have so much fun, I am thankful for that bond that I have with them.
* I am thankful for my Brother Ricky, always reminding me that someday we will be together forever.

The most important event in the history of the world was the birth of Jesus Christ. From the days of Adam to John the Baptist—some four millenniums—righteous men and women looked to the day of His heralded birth. Prophets foretold the event, and sacrifices, symbolism, and signs portended His birth.

Lesson:
Invite family members to show with their fingers how many wise men came to see Jesus. Show a picture of the wise men with King Herod.
Ask why they think most people believe there were three. Have your family look for how many wise men are mentioned as you study Matthew 2. Read together Matthew 2:1–11 and discuss the following questions:

• Where was Jesus born and who was the king of Judea? (Verse 1.)

• Who were the wise men looking for? (See Matthew 2:2, footnote a. The wise men were not seeking just a “king” but the “Messiah.”)

• Why were Herod and “all Jerusalem with him” troubled? (Herod was a jealous king and didn’t want anyone else, not even a son, to take his throne.)

• Why do you think Herod really wanted to know where and when this “King of the Jews” was born? (See verse 16.)

• How did the wise men find Jesus?

• Where did the wise men find Jesus? (Invite family members to mark the words house and young child.)

Ask family members if they noticed the words manger or baby or any mention of the number of wise men. What does this tell us about the Christmas story as it is told year after year? Share the following statements by Elder Bruce R. McConkie:
“There came from unnamed eastern lands . . . an unspecified number of wise men. Whether they were two, three, or twenty in number is a matter of pure speculation.”

“It appears from Matthew’s account . . . that . . . the wise men came two or three years after the birth of our Lord. It was a ‘young child,’ not a baby, they were seeking; he was found in a ‘house,’ not a manger; and Herod ‘sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under.’” (Mormon Doctrine, 230.) We set up the evergreen tree with its gleaming, brightly colored lights; we hang wreaths and bells; and we light candles—all to remind us of that wondrous gift, the coming of our Lord into the world of mortality.
We send Christmas cards to numerous friends and relatives, pulling back into happy memories the loved ones who have moved out of our immediate association. Like the wise men who opened their treasury and presented to Jesus gifts of gold and frankincense and myrrh, we present to our loved ones things to eat and wear and enjoy.
Though we make an effort to follow the pattern of gift giving, sometimes our program becomes an exchange—gift given for gift expected. Never did the Savior give in expectation. I know of no case in his life in which there was an exchange. He was always the giver, seldom the recipient. Never did he give shoes, [socks], or a vehicle; never did he give perfume, a shirt, or a [coat]. His gifts were of such
nature that the recipient could hardly exchange or return the value. His gifts were rare ones: eyes to the blind, ears to the deaf, and legs to the lame; cleanliness to the unclean, wholeness to the infirm, and breath to the lifeless. . . . His gifts were . . . light in the darkness, forgiveness to the repentant, hope to the despairing. His friends gave him shelter, food, and love. He gave them of himself, his love, his service, his life. The wise men brought him gold and frankincense. He gave them and all their fellow mortals resurrection, salvation, and eternal life. Activity:
Pass out Pictures of all the symbols of Christmas to the kids example: Christmas Tree, Color Red, Candy Cane, Star, Candle, Wreath, Gifts, Bell , Bow, and Santa . Have them go around the house and try to find there symbol(s) in the house. After they have found there Symbols ask if they know what they symbolize. Explain to everyone the meaning behind the symbols of Christmas.

* The Green Christmas Tree represents everlasting life and pointing heavenward.
* The color red Symbolizes the Savior’s Sacrifice for all.
* The candy cane Symbolizes the crooked staff of the shepherds.
* The star Represents the Bethlehem star marking the Savior’s birthplace.
* The candle Symbolizes the light of Christ, Our own inner Light.
* The wreath symbolizes the eternal Love, no beginning, no end. Love comes in full circle.
* The Gifts represents Giving, Sharing, Thinking of others.
* The Bell Symbolizes Rings to bring the lost sheep home.

Colbys Primary Program Day

We got some cute pictures of the kids. Didn't get any of Dereck he is always the last one to get ready.

Tate was so excited because he looked just like his brother and daddy, He finally fits in Colby's old suit.
Colby had his Primary program on Sunday, he had his part memorized for the last 2 weeks and as soon as he got up to the stand he forgot it all. Don't ya just love that. He did do a great job though his Grandma and Grandpa even came to see his big performance.

Payton is getting so big, she can now roll over both ways she is so funny when ever she does it she gets so excited and starts kicking her little legs so fast. Her first word was Dada, it is her favorite word to say. All my kids said Dada before Mama, She is grabbing at everything she can get her hands on, She knows when mommy is walking away and lets me know that she is not OK with that even if daddy is holding her. She sleeps really good at night but I know that will change as soon as she starts to teeth. She is so ticklish and has such a funny giggle. She brings such happiness to our home. We all love her so much.

We had a fun night with the Masters after the Pumpkin Patch we all meet up at our house and had pizza and carved our pumpkins. Thanks to the Daddy's that helped do the icky part.

Tate and Gavin are so silly when they get together.

We went to the Pumpkin Patch with some friends of ours on Friday,
This is Dylan and Colby, They are best buds.

Tate fell asleep in the car on the way there, He was in such a grumpy mood the rest of the night.

Next year we will go with our hubby's, they were working late but we met up with them later. I just have to say that was a little tricky trying to get pumpkins when we both have little ones. But we made it work.

Well Payton, Tate, and I have got the cold, Tate is just getting over his and he just gave it to us, probably by him kissing his sister with his snotty nose when I wasn't looking. Now every time Payton sneezes Snot it is sure to be everywhere. So fun. I wish that I was just the only one sick cause its no fun when my kids are sick they are just so helpless, and cranky.

Payton has been chewing on anything and everything she gets her hands on, she loves her phone as you can see. Now when people hold her she drenches them with her drool. I hope she is not teething she is not even 4 months yet, but with my luck she just might be, she has already chomped down on me while I was feeding her, I said ouch really loud and I think she thought it was funny. So please I hope no teeth yet.

I still cant believe he is in 1st grade, he really does look older compared to last year. He is such a hard worker it is so fun to see him when he comes home and tells me how good he did on his reading test or spelling test. It is just so fun to see him so excited about school.

My mom made this beautiful blessing dress for Payton.
So my mom made her dress, my grandma Smith made her blanket and I made her headband.
Some of the men that blessed her, My Uncle Charlie, friend Chip Roberts, Dereck, and my Dad.

Mean Neighbor

I had to share this with everyone because it was just so funny. Tate was out side ready to go get Colby from school and our neighbor got home and was walking to his garage when Tate said, "Hi mean Neighbor." I heard him say it from the kitchen, So I walked out side and saw the neighbor looking at Tate in a confused way, then Tate saw me and said really loud, "I said hi to the mean neighbor mom". he was just so happy that he said hi to him. I just about died, maybe Dereck and I should choose some better words for the neighbor, well now the neighbor knows what we call him. But he is really mean.

Colby was so excited to wear his Zack Heffron shirt. even though he looks more like Corbin.
Tate giving his brother a big hug before he heads off to school.
So Colby came up to our room at 4:30 this morning, he was so excited I told him to go back to sleep but he just laid there awake because every time I would move his head would pop up. Well he bathed, ate a yummy breakfast and had his lunched packed with back pack and all at 7:00am. I don't think he realized that school was still 2 hours away. I am so glad Colby is so excited to go to school because I don't know how long that will last as he grows up.
